SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES
Evergreen Park offers a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of our residents. Well trained caregivers are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide services including:
Medication management, assistance with walking, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers including those requiring a Hoyle lift, in home perms and haircuts as well as services for specific needs such as feeding tubes, oxygen and wheelchairs.
Each home is staffed 24 hours a day with trained, compassionate caregivers. The caregivers, along with our management staff can schedule medical appointments and arrange for transportation. We also handle the refilling of medications and inform the doctors and the resident’s families about any concerns that we may observe.
Residents are fed three highly nutritious meals plus along with multiple snacks each day. While all meals are designed around the unique nutritional needs of seniors, special dietary requests are also accommodated.
Social and recreational activities include personal and group activities, daily exercise, pet therapy, live music with piano players and guitar players, memory games, crafts, bingo, bean bag toss, stationary bike, summer picnics, and family events several times a year.
Most of the rooms are private rooms. Larger bedrooms are available for couples. The rooms are equipped with monitors for safety. Showers are designed such that a resident can either walk in without the need to step up or a resident could roll in with their wheelchair. All exterior doors have substantial locks and are alarm monitored for safety.
A great deal of attention and detail surrounds the management of each individual’s medication and we assist and monitor each resident to be sure that they are taking their medications as prescribed by their physician. In addition to working with doctors of your choice, we also have the names of home visiting doctors and can make them available upon request. Regular assessments and individual care plans are in place for each resident.
Residents and their families are encouraged to personalize their rooms with items to make it feel like their home. Our homes are equipped with fine furniture with the needs of the elderly in mind. The homes are seasonally decorated and we strive to create an atmosphere that makes our residents and their families feel relaxed so that their visits are enjoyable.
